Most men would castrate themselves to fornicate certain “A-list actresses.” I’d take a shiner to the jaw for a chance to take Kristen Wiig to a show(music), of her choosing, and drinks afterwards.
Meursault - Small Stretch of Land
This is the most gratifying record I have ever bought at this current point in my life and probably will be for years to come. If you like this, check the record out.
“And yet women-good women—frightened me because they eventually wanted your soul, and what was left of mine, I wanted to keep.”

The Perishers -Nothing like you and I
The Band - The Weight
Everyone knows this song. Regardless of how great or bad the day is going, I find that this song will cause a pause in it to reflect on the path of your life. Even if it’s just to let it be your soundtrack for a second, even if it’s just to sing the chorus, and even if it takes the entirety of the song it will spark the realization that life ain’t so bad sometimes. I have no idea what the true meaning of the song is, but I’m sure it has had the aforementioned effect on many people. Regardless, it is a sad thing when a person, in conjunction with others, capable of creating something that steals us away from the monotony of life is himself stolen from the rest of us. RIP Levon Helm.
Le Tigre - Eau D’Bedroom Dancing.
The feeling of that bitterly short moment when you wake next to that someone, minutes before dawn, and silently say to yourself “This is good.”
